I finished it yesterday and I love it !
I made it in a different way than the one posted in this tutorial.
I love the wavy edges.Because I made it with a large bottom, it looks rather like a deep plate than a bowl.
Of course, it’s totally useful: too pretty to be filled !
L-am terminat ieri si ce-mi place ! L-am facut in alt mod decat cel din acest tutorial.
Imi plac marginile valurite. Pentru ca i-am facut un fund cam mare, arata mai degraba ca un platou adanc decat ca un bol .
Bineinteles, e total inutil: prea frumos pentru a fi umplut !
I started with just one piece :
Am inceput cu o singura bucata:
and I made 8 slits into the fabric:

Metoda asta am folosit-o si eu la un bol.Dar ambele imi plac si mi se par bune!

They are beautiful. Far too beautiful to put things in. Perfect for displaying as they are.

This is so pretty…I love it! Seems simpler to quilt, being all in one piece to begin with. Great job!!!

I agree with Chris and Diana, you are so clever. You took the most difficult step out of making the fabric bowls. I’m now ready to make one, or two, or more. LOL
