Over the years I quilted different fabrics: of course, most of them were quilt fabrics. But I quilted home decor fabrics as well, velvet, denim and textured fabrics.
Now it was the turn of faux leather to be quilted.
This one below is a very thin fabric; I don’t think it is suitable for bags (maybe for a small pouch).
I gave 1 meter to my niece for a skirt. Can’t wait to see it.
This one below is perfect; not only the quilting made it more interesting, but the batting added to it some more structure making it better for bags. I used cotton batting for this sample, next time I will try felt.
