The batting is cut away. Normally I would say that the hardest work is done. But not in this case.
Actually I am quite nervous thinking of the next steps.
I added a colored fabric under the organza so you can see the design better. It measures 52”x52”.
This will not be the background.
There will be something more… I hope there will be much more…
I clipped the organza only once…please don’t tell anybody…
The kitties were of big help…
I am almost sorry that I will throw to the bin these small pieces of batting…
Now I have to sew a few boring things – pillow covers!
Have a great day,
Geta

Your design is lovely. At my guild we take left of pieces of fabric, batting and even threads and make a pillow for homeless shelters.
Your pretty shapes would be a good start on a pillow!

Its awesome Geta. You seem to be becoming a pro at this kind of pattern. I MUST say everytime I come across a bulging circle shape ANYWHERE, I think of you 🙂

I read all of your "shadow trapunto" posts and your quilts are all so amazingly stunning. But, I cannot for the life of me figure out what exactly you are doing. I still have no clue what steps you take or whatever . . . I guess I need to get your book to understand haha ;c)
