I love to work on this mini quilt.
In just a few hours, I made templates and cut out all the applique pieces. This time I made the templates out of fusible web. Half of the templates I printed directly on the paper side of fusible web. Then the printer couldn’t recognize the paper and did not want to print again. So I had to transfer the other half of design by hand. Nothing fun!
All the pieces are labeled for easy placement on the background fabric. I can’t believe how organized I am!
And finally, after years of hiding it in the drawer, I used this small rotary cutter to cut out that window in the center of the piece. That was fun! And easy.
One more step before quilting!
Have a great weekend!

As I know you, when you say "miniature quilt" it is really a miniature one :D…I'm anxious to see it finished. Should I prepare a magnifying glass for that moment ? 😉
Hugs.
