I am still wondering how my quilt will turn out! For years I thought that 10 colors in a quilt are way too much, now I am wondering if these colors are enough.
But I make this quilt for a young man so it can be too colorful, right?
I can’t disturb my hubby with my noisy sewing machine now so I will have to wait until tomorrow to see! Can’t wait to add the black!
I am more and more in love with solid fabric. I think I have to order a Kona cotton color card.

i had the same prob few months ago, so i add blue background (wide between the blocks) it made it more masculine and just right amount of color.

I think it will remind me of the beautiful Amish quilts I love so much. Bright colors and black. Yummy!

I think you are right wondering if you have enough color. As I look at the picture, something is missing. One thing about black, unless you intend to achieve an effect like the loss of memory in Altzheimers, bright colors (jewel tones) are a necessity. You are almost there, maybe purple, royal blue or ? And, yes, it is masculine.
