I made a lettering bag pattern and these special totes before Christmas and I finally share them on the blog. This blog is like a journal of my work, so better keep it updated, girl!
It all started with this beautiful fabric, from the “Gradients” collection by Moda Fabrics (there are two more colorways).
and with a fun and easy technique.
The result was this:
Then this:
and finally this: a two-sided tote.
Then, of course, it is hard to stop at one friend!
You have to add a sister…
If you want, you can make two bags, with lettering only on one side and made two additional, simple quilted panels for the back of the totes.
The mother…
I love seeing my mom proudly wearing this bag – she (and the bag!) is unique! Yes, I had to translate the lettering to her!
I wanted to make it as light as possible (my mom is 79 and she walks miles almost daily) so I quilted it on a thin batting.
Lovely quilting…
Easy quilting…
Next in line: BEST TEACHER!
Pattern here, if you want to make your loved one feel special!
Happy sewing!
