Have you seen my latest pouch pattern?
It’s for super quick and easy pouches that you can make in any size you need and have lots of uses! How about some pencil cases?
…
or makeup stuff.
For some of the pouches I used vinyl – for its great advantage that it does not require interfacing.
It’s easy to alter the size and make a pouch that fit your need.
The pattern also includes these templates that help you draw the slot for zipper on fabric.
The template simplifies a lot the math and measurements involved when you have to draw the slot in a specific place and saves you a lot of time. It turns this boring step into something quick, fun and easy.
The best part: these templates can be used whenever you need to sew a zippered pocket on bags! I am using them a lot.
You can make your own templates. If you can, use card stock, the templates will be more durable and it will be easier to use them.
I made some pouches in quilting cottons, with the help of some interfacing.
Quick and easy pattern, great for scraps – hard to stop sewing!
Happy sewing!
