There are common techniques for creating zigzag quilts.
I have one more for you. DIFFERENT!
Grab a cup of coffee and stay with me for some time, because I will show you 8 projects made using the same technique, but in different ways, with different fabrics, for DIFFERENT results!
Here is how a regular zigzag design would look like made from this striped fabric.
Beautiful, but fractured!
I wanted to create something different.
How about this continuous striped zig zag?

Countless variations.
Quilt size: 44'' x 52''
Two strips of fabric...

The technique allows you to sew blocks that will have THE EXACT SAME size, which translates into a quick and easy quilt top piecing.
All the math done for you!
Straightening the zig zag design requires setting and corner triangles, but do not worry - all the math is there for you to follow.
Suggestions for quilting are included- for all the projects.
Different fabric for a different look
The type of fabric you use influences the look of the design and the easiness of the technique- lots of examples are provided.

You can do this and I love it!
The only thing needed is some math, the technique remains the same!
Everything you need to know to sew the zig zag design below, all the math, is included in the pattern.
