Last year I made a pleated tree design and turned it into a tote bag.
I loved so much the texture that I wanted to re-create it, but using a different technique. And different it was, because I ended up with two trees, created from a rectangular panel.
The pleats are created in a different way and know I have a problem: which one to love more?
Anyway, with this technique I have different designs for both front and back panels of a bag, so here is how I used my double blocks!
I love to create trees-change the fabric and you will change the season…
So this pattern is great for seasonal projects.
You can use the panels for pillows or wall hangings…
My version with wintery fabric.
And here is some new baskets I made yesterday, in autumn fabrics.
