Tip for inserting snaps
Have you seen my latest pouch patterns? Many of them require two snaps for closure... I used to hate this step of installing two snaps. A trick you must know
You probably know very well this sewing sequence: Sew along the edges at..., leaving a gap in the seam. Turn the piece right side out. Close the gap! You must know this trick!
When we sew bags and pouches, sometimes we have to bind raw edges (on the interior or exterior of the bag). There is an easy way to do this, and it is not only easy, but the binding will enclose nicely the edges. Here is a little bag (pattern here), look at the beautiful top edge.
