Just to be sure that I don't give up to the idea of making the Jewel box pattern (that I made for my mother) in two small sizes, I started to piece the blocks. into my solid fabric stash, washed and pressed. Fat quarters, fat eights and 10" squares - a lot of frayed edges after washing. But I managed to hide most of them when I folded the pieces.
