Square in Square Quilt
Here is my new quilt, made with Kona cotton. 40'' x 40'' After I quilted feathers on hexagons I wanted to see how the feathers look quilted on squares. It was easy to fill the space with feathers. The hardest part of my quilt is done. With the help of one sister and a glue pen, I finished the hand piecing. I really love the glue pen - it makes the "basting" process so fast; and I couldn't believe how accurate my pieces were. There were only 180 pieces, for a 30" little piece... and only 8 pieces like these ones - so happy that I finished with them! Matching 8 seams wasn't easy … [Read more...]
