Warm, soft and cozy
Perfect for Alex! One layer of minky, one layer of wool batting, one layer of flannel. The first thing I did was to draw 6'' circles on the flannel. Then I made the quilt sandwich: minky+batting then the flannel on top. I had no problem quilting through all the layers (with darning foot and free motion stitching). Then I added a 4'' wide binding.
