My sister Nina was here yesterday, so we had to do some work! I laid the top on the floor so she can see it. This cat thinks it looks great ... ... while this one is sleeping on this quilt - her favorite place! We removed the paper templates. 4 hands filled this bag in about 2 hours. I thought this is a boring and time consuming task but it really wasn't. I love this … [Read more...]

Spoonflower
Do you remember the images I purchased two weeks ago, from Deposit Photos? I turned them into fabric! I printed them on fabric using Spoonflower. The printed colors are not as vibrant as the ones in the original photos ( they can't look on fabric as they look on the computer screen), but I am very happy with how the fabric looks. These are 1-yard pieces. From this I will make bags … [Read more...]

The triangles were cut out from 30'' squares. So … [Read more...]

Hello Houston!
No, I am not going to Houston. But my latest shadow trapunto quilt will be there, for a few days, in November. It has been accepted into the 2012 International Quilt Festival. I named it A World of Many Colors (I know, not too inspired! I am engineer!) I am so happy, since I made it, it stays rolled on top of a closet. I can't even think to hang it on a wall, because of … [Read more...]
