I am in the binding stage. It's already pieced. I made even a hanging sleeve. Now to sew them. Thank you for your latest comments. I am glad you like what you see. Yes, this is the back. The front is colorful. Some of you asked about the machine I used. This one. Working on this quilt I learned what patience means. Music helped me a lot! How silly on my part to post music videos … [Read more...]

I am expert!
in ripping out stitches... I don't like the color! I knew that I don't like quilting with dark thread on light fabric, but I did not have too many choices. But I can't understand why I had to stitch for 4 hours and use 500 yds of thread to realize this. How many days do I need to remove the stitches? At least 4! This is the second. Lesson learned again. Rainbow Quilt Finished

I was too confident - in me, in the cotton batting, in my sewing machine. … [Read more...]
Zig zag quilt finished
This is such a quick and easy quilt. The pattern can be made with half square triangles (a lot of work!), but I used this tutorial - piecing strips, cutting squares and piecing blocks on point. I would have liked more a quilting done with perfectly straight stitching (and walking foot). But rotating the quilt under the needle every few inches is not for me. Not now, at least. I … [Read more...]
