Baby quilt
Delivered ! It measures 45"x45". Pictures of the quilt top here and here Initially, I wanted to quilt just the background but the largest pieces left unquilted did not look nice so I had to quilt them all. I took the pictures after the quilt was washed. I don't use too often cotton batting, but in this way I can appreciate it even more, right ? I love the look of the quilting and … [Read more...]
A New Quilt – WIP
I finished the baby girl quilt. I like it ! Very much ! It is heavy quilted, still it has much texture. Can't wait to show you, but I need time to select the pictures.Until then, this is the new project started today. I 'll show you tomorrow the top, it is already night and I … [Read more...]

My favorite cousin has a baby girl. So I pull out from my stash all girly fabrics because I have to make a baby quilt. If I could cross the street to buy a large scale print for this palette, I would do … [Read more...]
Batting
I just bought a new bolt of batting for my future projects. It measures 84"x 55 yds. I did not sell my house to buy it ! Because I did not buy it from abroad ( if you don't know that shipping is so expensive for batting, lucky you!).I am still lucky because for most of my quilts I can buy batting here in Romania. It's a thick fluffy polyester batting but it works wonderfully for many of my … [Read more...]
