I am in love with my new box pouch pattern!
This is a classic design that I have never been interested in!
But I needed urgently a spacious pouch and I made one very quickly. I wasn't too happy with the result but I loved the functionality of the pouch so I thought that with some improvements, it could become my favorite way of sewing pouches. And I was right!

What 's so special about these pouches?
1.
The fabric used!
I used faux leather for my pouches. Because it is heavy enough it does not need interfacing and this reduces a lot the time needed to finish the pouch.
You can make your pouches with quilt weight fabric or home decor fabric, you just need to add the proper interfacing- instructions are included in the pattern.
Size of these pouches: 7'' x 4'' x 4''.

The way the inside seams are finished adds a lot of structure to the pouch, giving it a wonderful shape!

The faux leather strip along the zipper is not only decorative, it's functional too!
The lovely accent strips contribute to the beautiful shape of the pouch, making the opening and closing of zipper easier.

Conquer your fear of zippers by the yard!
This design is the perfect opportunity for you to start working with zippers by the yard! It is very convenient for this technique.
