Cutting triangles and piecing squares in three different ways!
There are lots of rainbow fabrics like this one below in stores (SPIRIT by Chong-A Hwang for Timeless Treasures).
If this fabric intimidates you, this new pattern teaches you a very quick and simple way to use it.
The result? Unpredictable - but always stunning!
A few tricks for stunning designs
The simple technique involves cutting triangles, piecing two triangles into a square and then piecing squares in three different ways!
For best results (and stunning quilts) you have to apply some tricks! You need to know how big the triangles must be, in order to provide the best design to your blocks. Lots of instructions with examples are included in the pattern.
Detailed instructions show how to choose your fabric and how to cut the triangles.
Size of quilt: 43'' x 43''
An amazing quilt from one piece of fabric!
The process is so fun, that I used all the fabrics suitable for this pattern in my stash!
Double Rainbow- Double Fun!
Instead of one fabric, use two fabrics! More color variation on the blocks and final quilt.
You can find in stores the same design in two colorways: bold and pastel colors.

Don't worry about math!
This pattern INVOLVES MATH - but don't worry, it's not your job to figuring it out! I did it for you, all you have to do is to follow the numbers in a table!
You will be able to adapt the size of your triangles so you make the most beautiful blocks; you will be able to work with square blocks from 1'' to 9''.
You will always know how many triangles you can cut from a strip (from 5 to 27!).
You will always know the final size of your square block.
You will be able to sew quilts in any size you need!

Monochrome gradation fabrics work too, but you need to know how to use the gradation to maximize the impact of the technique (instructions on how to do this are included in the pattern).
Designs like the ones below are next on my to-do list.
3 piecing options available!
There are three ways you can piece the square blocks.
If one does not work, you have other two options that will completely change the design!
See below three settings with an amazing fabric that at first I thought is too busy for this pattern(Gradations 2 from Moda Fabrics).
I was so sad that I had only half yard of this fabric, because all the piecing options give wonderful design.
My final option.
A few more examples
This is another fabric that I was sure will not work!
Due to the different piecing options, here is a wonderful geometric design from a boring fabric.
One more example, done with the third piecing option.
Don't worry!
You will not waste fabric and time, because the pattern also shows you what fabric NOT to use!
A tremendous help for you!
I made a list with 35 fabrics you find NOW in stores that are suitable for this pattern (and the pattern below).
The fabrics link to a few big online shops in the USA.
You can do your own search using the name of the fabrics provided and you might be able to find them in your favorite shops.
But there is even more.
For a few fabrics I generated on computer images of the blocks, to give you an idea about the look of the designs you could achieve.
