3 techniques -1 quilt
- The center design is stitched using English Paper Piecing technique.
- The snowflakes are raw edge applique.
- Under snowflakes there is trapunto.
NOTE
This pattern doesn’t explain in detail English Paper Piecing. There are instructions on how to baste the fabric to the paper templates. How to whip stitch the pieces together is not explained. It assumes that you know this technique.
If you don’t know this technique and want to learn it, there are many free tutorials on Internet. You can search the terms “English Paper Piecing Tutorial” on Google.

Then you can add borders to make the top in the desired size. I added two borders, on top and bottom edges of the large pieced square.
