Pattern #3

8-point textured stars and wreaths

More than a simple star!

These stars are more textured than the stars made with my other patterns.

Fold. Press. Glue. Sew.

The technique is simple and easy.
Fusible web is applied on square pieces of fabric, then the pieces are folded and pressed in a certain way. Once the eight units of a star are prepared, you follow a simple sequence for the assembling of the star.

Versatile pattern

You can make stars in any size- just change the size of the squares.

Easy ornaments to sew

Decorate the center of the stars with buttons or other decorative items.

Wreaths: as easy as the stars!

You prepare the pieces in the same way; only the way you arrange the units changes.

Double layer stars

Faster version: one layer star

Great version when you don't have too much time for sewing. This version uses less fabric and fusible web, but the look is not as spectacular as the look of the double layer stars.
