UR Priceless Blog Hop
Today is my day in the UR Priceless Blog Hop! A big THANK YOU to Madame Samm and Katherine for putting this hop together. Here is the first frame purse I made, using Madame Samm's pattern- great instructions and the shape of the purse is adorable! GENIUS! I am in love! The size (3'' frame) and shape make you smile. And I pieced it like hexagons: paper templates, glue (instead of basting with thread - and I loved it!). A quick project. So far... I thought … [Read more...]
My First Ribbon
Do you remember this quilt ? I was so happy when it was accepted in the Judged Show of the International Quilt Association, "A World of Beauty", that takes place in Houston. And it won a ribbon - an Honorable Mention in the Innovative Applique category. A small award, but a HUGE encouragement! We all make quilts because they make us happy, but it’s great to know that all the time and hard … [Read more...]
