This baby quilt was made by gluing the applique pieces with temporary glue.
It can be made with fusible web as well, but the instructions for this method are not included.
The quilt requires free motion quilting, with a darning/free motion foot attached to the sewing machine and the feed dogs down.
Learn to make trapunto. Without water-soluble thread!
I did trapunto under the center flowers. This is an optional step, but it is worth the time and effort because the design will have a more pronounced 3D appearance.
