This is a very spacious pouch with
Zipper closure.
Pouch size: 9½’’ wide at top, 8’’ wide at bottom, 4¾’’ tall, 4’’ deep
You will be glad to learn how to create this side gusset and how to finish the pouch with zipper and binding.
The lining is the simplified version of the exterior pouch, so the finishing will be quicker.
The pouch opens wide and it can store a lot of bulky items.
You can use heavyweight fabric or quilt weight fabric paired with the right interfacing.
I made some of my pouches in faux leather - this is the quickest option, as it does not require interfacing.

I made even a quilted bag!
You can make the bag in heavyweight (home decor) fabric but you can use quilt cotton as well. I quilted the pieces of the bag on fusible fleece and a heavyweight backing and here is my bag.

I know some of you love to sew bags with top zipper closure. It is not my favorite closure but for this bag it is a great option.
If you don't like the zipper closure, you can finish the bag with magnetic snaps - instructions on how to do this are included as well.
