Baby Quilt Finished
Do you remember Barb's quilt top and its story ? I finished the quilting. I loved doing it and I love that I am part of this story. The quilting is similar with the one I did on my own quilt. I LOVE to quilt tiles on the roof and bricks on the walls! On the white sashings and borders I stitched bubbles and pebbles. Usually, I wash all my quilts before adding the binding. But I am not … [Read more...]
Work and Love
The work and love we put in our quilts! Those who don't quilt could say these are just words. Even when we make our own quilts, I think we are not always aware of the "work and love". We just make quilts and don't count anything. But when someone sends a quilt top to you, asking to quilt it, it is impossible not to see the huge amount of work and the love the quilter stitched on it. I don't … [Read more...]
Warm, soft and cozy
Perfect for Alex! One layer of minky, one layer of wool batting, one layer of flannel. The first thing I did was to draw 6'' circles on the flannel. Quick and easy project … [Read more...]

I took the pictures after the quilt was washed. I don't use too often cotton batting, but in this way I can appreciate it even more, right ? I love the look of the quilting and … [Read more...]

Baby quilt pieced !

I 'll show you tomorrow the top, it is already night and I … [Read more...]
I am back at work
I didn’t sew anything in the last weeks. We made some renovations in our home, painted the walls and other hard things like these. My husband had a few days off, but we both worked at home. Now I am back to my quilts. I cannot sew because my sewing machine needed a few small repairs and only at the end of the week I will have it back home. But I have a lot of work to do on my … [Read more...]
