It's just... BINDING! I made it to match the pattern of my new quilt. It was a last minute idea and I surprised myself that I did not say: "NO, NO WAY!". I thought it worth the effort. The white strips measure 3/8''. The others are 2 1/2''. I used about 35 different colors of Kona cotton.  I think the quilt has even more colors. Still a lot to do for this quilt!
