Piecing Fleece
One of my friends sent me a few strips of fleece and yesterday I made a blanket for my little nephew. These are 5'' squares. I stitched them with long stitches and the widest seam allowances. The quilt for my hubby
He waited for it for 10 years ! But the waiting was worth it ! I used cotton batting, I love the look of the quilts made with cotton batting after washing . Baby quilt pieced !
I spent some time cutting all the pieces... but I found an super easy way to keep all the patches in order. Halves of block Very easy to make- nothing to match. I wanted perfect blocks so I adjusted the "not so perfect" 12" blocks to 11.5". It took me 6 hours to piece 16 blocks... ...and one more hour to join the blocks.
