I didn’t make too many bed quilts in my quilting adventure.
This pineapple quilt was made in my first years of quilting. I used 18 fabrics to make it. I rarely use so many fabrics in a quilt. I was so proud of my fabric collection !
I am proud of the borders too, because usually I am too lazy to add borders to quilts…
And it is not paper pieced…
From the same fabrics I made even a small quilt. I hope one day I will make a miniature using pineapple blocks.
This quilt was entirely made from batiks. It is such a pleasure to use batiks for piecing.

Doamne mi se pare o munca URIASA sa faci un qult pineapple. Nu stiam ca lucrat si in tehnica asta. E superb, ca tot ce faci tu.

Wonderful examples of the classic pineapple block design. Your smaller one reminds me of a lovely tiled floor seen in an old cathedral. I agree – batiks are so incredible to work with!

Nu ma mira ca ai ajuns la asemenea nivel de specializare,daca in primul an ai facut quilturi atat de frumoase. Iti doresc mult spor la lucru si mai astept tutoriale!
Cred ca si acum ti-ar sta la fel de bine cu parul lung! Iar quilturile tale nu par a fi de incepator!Sunt prea frumoase si dificile ca tehnica!
