I finished quilting on Alex’s quilt- my sewing machine was my best friend!
I am too lazy to add borders on quilts. Most of my quilts don’t have borders, still on this one I added one- simple, white.
But I wanted to finish the edges of the quilt in a colorful way so that I pieced the binding. And just to be sure the binding is colorful enough, I made it wider – 3 1/2”. I love wide binding!
While trying to find inspiration to name Alex’s quilt, I found this video:
In the city of Tarragona, Spain, castellers gather every two years to see who can build the highest, most intricate human castles. It requires astonishing strength, finesse, and balance. Not to mention courage.
Amazing!
Enjoy the weekend!
