I started quilting the cube quilt – and I am not having fun!
Today is the fourth day and I don’t think I am brave enough to finish it.
The quilt was too wide and since I did not have such wide batting I trimmed two vertical rows from the both sides.
I am not sure if I will hate or love this quilt – I have to wait to finish it! Right now I hate it!
I hope you are having fun!
Hi Geta. I think your cube quilt is great – fantastic colours.
Keep going with it – it will all be worth it.
I LOVE this quilt. Is beatifull! Be patient with it…
Good luck.
Well, i love it!
Don't hate it: it is gorgeos
Hi, Geta!
It looks great – go on!
I have the same feeling with my "Flowers in the air" – hexagon English paper. It has passed 3 months and still not finished.
Greating from Bulgaria
I love it. Really special quilt.
Oh I´m sure you will love it after you are done quilting. To the batting – I piece mine alot when I have bigger leftovers (of course the same kind) – smaller pieces will be used for stuffing.
I know how it is when you are working on something you aren't sure about. Like it has been said before..it will look completely different once it is quilted. Personally I think it is stunning…all those solids and beautiful variations of colour.
I am sorry for the quilt, if you hate it because it looks wonderful!
I think it's gorgeous! Please give it to someone who will appreciate it (even unfinished) – don't throw it away!
Better yet, why not leave it for a few days? You'll probably feel differently then!
The colors in this just jump! Fantastic job. Keep going!.
I think it is gorgeous.
You will love it after a break from it.
Your quilt is absolutely gorgeous! Take your time and it will be fine!
What a beautiful quilt. I can not wait to see the magic that your expert quilting will bring to it. You are so talented……
omgoodness geta this quilt is lovely….your work is always so beautiful!
If I created something this beautiful my self esteem would increase a thousand fold. Working with triangles and matching all those seams…you are a master quilter in my eyes!
Take a deep breath. The beauty and magic of this quilt is there. You just need to find it. Step back and look at it from far away. Lovely. You can do it. I have faith in you always.
Hugs, Deborah
I love it. And I also piece batting all the time. Either whip stitch it together by hand or by machine using a wide zig zag.
To me looks impressing – I think you will like in in the end. It's quite powerfull with the bright colors and the design is stunning with the three dimensional effect.
Surely you WILL love it! How could you not?!
Esti fantastastica!Modelul este asa frumos si lucrezi cu o viteza…!
Don't give up! Yes piece your batting, I do it all the time.
You can do this Geta!! Don't give up!!! The quilt is gorgeous. My daughter wants me to make one for my son, the graphic design major; because he loves all things geometric. I am looking forward to seeing your FANTASTIC quilting of this FANTASTIC creation. I wish I knew Romanian to encourage you better, hahaha!
