I finally managed to take photos of this quilt.
I love how it turned out. I wanted an aqua-red quilt but since I don’t have too many fabrics in these colors in my stash, I had to add green, pink, turquoise.
The quilting is simple, done with free motion and wavy lines.
Initially, I thought that stippling would be great too (since the prints are so busy), but I wanted to see a little more texture on the white backing so I changed my mind.
The binding ? Scrappy and wide…
I love it, even though it took me 2 months to finish it!
I am sure my sister Oana will love it, too.

Wow ! I love your new style of wavy quilting ! Oana like so much red-aqua combination ? I think that this way, in this actual color combination the quilt is much-much more interesting.
I bet she'll be thrilled and overwhelmed. 😉 Sister love….

Beautiful as always. I noticed your scrappy binding changes colors at the corner. How do you avoid having a big lump there?

This is so pretty….I do love your quilting. Do you have a longarm or do you do this on a regular sewing machine? Amazing work!

Just lovely – only 2 months to amke it and you think that is a long time – I would love to do a whole quilt like that in such a short time. Lovely colours & quilting as usual.
