I LOVE big and colorful dots (Disco Dots by Michael Miller).

Years ago I made this quilt; I was in love with a watercolor flower print.

It looks even better on a bag!
It’s an old print, by Henry Glass – Midnight Rendezvous!– how appropriate is the name !!
And here are a few pictures for you to see the difference between different type of interfacing.
For years I used Peltex and Timtex and I love them; but shipping them across the ocean is expensive and I had to find some replacements I could buy in Romania. And I found Decovil, an interfacing manufactured by Vilene division of Freundenberg Germany..

heavyweight Decovil (left) and Peltex; read here some thoughts about the difference between them. |
Lightweight Decovil is a new product and I ADORE it! No matter where you live, search for it and try it! It’s so easy to sew with it, it fuses nicely on fabric; even the beginner sewers will love it!

Cu un model frumos si materiale bune, rezultatul este spectaculos!!!!
I checked: Decovil here in the USA via Amazon is $24.60 a meter (39" for us Americans). A bit pricey, huh? But I love that triangle quilt – so very beautiful! The floral print says "Impressionism" art to me. You did a fabulous job!
Love the disco balls.
I love the spotty print. Looks great on a bag.
Wow! I found you through Lily's Quilts and read your About page, What a determined and talented lady you are. I intend to both follow your blog and have a go at Trapunto quilting. Thank you
Thank you so much for sharing your talent and knowledge with us!! I am enjoying your blog!!
Awasome. We have the same taste in fabrics. I also have the watercolor flower fabric, in several quilt and other projects. A friend, remembered my love and found some more in Oregon and shipped me three yards. I don't know what to do with it! Stash for now.
