It’s time for Blogger’s Quilt Festival and I am still stitching on my new Aurifil Quilt. So I thought to enter one of my favorite quilts from last year in the Original Design category.
The quilt measures 40” and it was hand pieced using English paper piecing.
The pattern is here.
A few challenges, a few lessons to learn and the top was done.
It was fun to quilt feathers (following this tutorial). I loved the texture created after the quilt was washed.
Thank you for stopping by.
Visit the Festival, you will be amazed by the endless creativity of quilters.

Whoa! I love the optical illusion created here. And the quilting is fabulous! Love all the bright colors, and the way you used them all in the binding as well. Absolutely stunning quilt.
I always love seeing the quilts you enter in the Festivals! Beautiful!
