I am sewing a few mini bags and I have to quilt on polka dot fabrics. On a few pieces I quilted stippling, then I wanted something different and I thought to join the dots on the fabric with stitching (I remember I did this as a child, with a pencil on paper, having fun creating different drawings).
So here is a fun stitching, created without effort!
Great free motion quilting practice!
A different one. The dots are tiny and the space in between them is small (I think less than 1/2”). At this size, the stitching was easy and fun. I imagine it should be the same (or maybe even easier) done on fabric with a bigger pattern.
And this is the other fabric I have fun with! It’s from the “Whatever the Weather” collection by Lisa Tilse (The Red Thread) for Robert Kaufman. I ADORE it! I bought only 1/2 yard, I need more!
Happy weekend!
