I have been enjoying your blog for several years now. Youe quilting is amazing and I love your designs. Thanks for all the hard work you do to make it all.
You might like to fix the link to batting scraps above. It’s the same as the one below it and I would love to see any hints for battting scraps since I have boxes and boxes of them 😉
I should have responded earlier this week under the bags post. I have a 3 year old granddaughter living with me. She is a diva. I took her to Vacation Bible School this year so I could work in her 10 year old 1/2 brother’s age group. She absolutely loved being with other children and being at church. I have health issues and mornings are a huge challenge for me. So, in order to try to get each of us encouraged to go back to church, I asked her if she would like me to make us matching dresses. It was an immediate YES. Then I saw your post about purses. I mentioned it to another friend who has purse patterns because she wants to make a purse for an 88 year old friend who is so frugal she will not buy herself a purse. So, I think we are going to have to have a sewing party. Thanks for the ideas. You are amazing. I wish I had the umph to attempt what you accomplish.

Hi Susan! I know it’s more fun when we have friends to sew with. I am sure your granddaughter would like some little purses for herself too.
