Here is one of my latest quilts- a heart quilt. I made 6 new heart designs and this is the first quilt I have made.
The technique? The easiest and fastest one – fusible raw edge applique.
Choosing the fabrics and colors was the hardest thing!
The beautiful fabrics are from the Fossil Fern collection by Benartex.
I secured the applique design with a delicate (and almost invisible) zig zag stitching- this is my favorite way to do the appliques.
The quilting? A simple idea that adds a lot of interest to the quilt -pebbles in two different sizes.
I hope you like it! There are so many possibilities to color this with fabric!
