Hello, friends!
I am happy to share my new fabric gift boxes with you, assembled into a 12 slice cake. Isn’t this a wonderful way to present special gifts to special people?
The fabric pieces for the lid boxes were fussy cut and I was so grateful that I have these fruit fabrics in my stash.
I have a piece of the strawberry fabric on white too (and I wanted to use it), but I did not have enough for fussy cutting 6 pieces; I found out that not all the fabrics are “fussy cut” friendly! But the cherry fabric came to the rescue!
It was fun (and so easy) to put them together.
A few boxes tied with a ribbon are lovely…
… but a complete cake is a different story!
Other cake recipes (oops, patterns!) coming soon!

Do you want to sew your own cakes? Pattern available now.

Fabulous.. I’d love to make this for my granddaughter’s 1st birthday! Is this a tutorial or paid pattern? I can not seem to find it.
