I can’t say fussy cutting is my passion, but when it comes to sewing for Christmas, I do whatever it takes to make some pretty fussy cut projects.
I also love repetition, so more pieces with the same fussy cut motif make sewing for Christmas even more interesting.
This is the starting point of my Folded Flowers pattern and 5” circles.
At first I made these little pieces…
And then I joined them – so much fun! If I will have enough time, I will add more!
Fabric, fusible interfacing and edges covered with zig zag! So quick and easy – all in one continuous stitching!
How about this?
My calorie-free cake! Pattern here.
I am not ready yet, but just imagine the boxes filled will little gifts!
At first, I wanted to sew a huge cake, but for this you need a fabric with a large print. These ornaments are small, so I had to make my cake small. I worked with 6” equilateral triangles.
Happy sewing for Christmas!
