Lately I like to quilt feathers on everything! I love how easy it is to fill any space with feathers.
So I thought that these designs are great to practice quilting feathers.
They look great as fusible raw edge appliques. Here is a free tutorial if you want to learn the technique. And don’t forget to try the Jeans needle for quilting over the applique pieces. You will love it!
I love 2-color designs!
And if you don’t have time for appliques, you could just trace the design on fabric and quilt it. With thread in two different colors.
